Manlets is an independent residential property management and letting agency. With over 20 years of experience within Manchester city centre, Manlets provide full service to tenants and landlords.

Robust Communication Systems

In the property industry, regular communication with tenants, landlords and contractors is vital. Therefore Manlets required robust phones, email connectivity and up-to-date hardware, to respond to enquiries efficiently.

Limited Connectivity

The biggest challenge for Manlets is the location of their offices. Despite being based in the city centre, the area is limited to slow internet connection.

In order to provide quality customer service and communications, Manlets required an IT solution that could improve their limited connectivity.

Solution


Failover Internet Connection

We have installed two failover internet connections on different networks and continue to manage connectivity for Manlets. By providing two failover internet connections, we are able to overcome the restricted internet access in their area.

Importantly, our connectivity uses two different networks to give a further level of resilience. This ensures round-the-clock connectivity, even if one connection has a problem.

Office 365

We provide Manlets with a fully managed Office 365 solution, covering email and file management. This ensures that all internal and outgoing communications take place within a compliant environment. With security in mind from the ground up, our Office 365 connection includes integration with backup and antivirus software.

Hosted Phone System

To ensure that no phone goes unanswered and all customers receive the utmost service, we installed and managed a Hosted phone system using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phones.

Failover Internet Connectivity

Full IT Support

As we manage all IT hardware and internet connectivity for Manlets, we provide ongoing support should any issues arise.

Our monitoring systems perform over 40 checks every five minutes, to ensure all systems are working at maximum capacity. By upgrading hardware to the latest models, we ensure Manlets stay ahead of potential cyber risks.

Regular health checks and a thorough evaluation of the technology onsite allows us to ensure that our clients are always connected.

We also source, install and manage all IT equipment for Manlets, to ensure maximum productivity. Our latest project is a full refresh of all laptops and desktop computers within the business. Maintaining modern hardware can improve efficiency and minimise the risk of cyber threats

Failover Connectivity

We know that Manlets operate in a location that has limited internet speeds. Therefore, we provide a dual-line internet connection, with a failover.

An internet failover is a secondary connection, to ensure uptime even if the main connection fails.

This additional connectivity ensures that Manlets are always able to access their client data and allows them to provide high levels of customer service to the tenants of the properties they manage.

What’s more, we understand the property sector’s reliance on communication to align contractors and keep clients happy. Failover connection ensures that Manlets are available whenever they need to be.
