Obsession Salon and Spa Logo

Obsession Salon is one of Linten’s longest serving clients. The original Obsession salon, situated in a luxury area of Lichfield, ran their business using Premier Software and on-premises servers.

As the business grew, they invested in a luxury salon refit and expanded into a new location at Branston Golf Club.

Futureproof IT Solutions

Obsession came to Linten for the necessary technical hardware and software support to achieve their salon expansion.

In order to manage inventory, schedules and appointments in multiple locations, the beauty business required centralised cloud servers for maximum efficiency.

The challenge at hand involved:

  • Switching from in-house to cloud servers
  • Installing reliable WiFi connection
  • Providing and installing essential IT hardware
  • Supporting and future-proofing the salon’s software

Solution


Cloud Servers

Switching from on-premises servers to the cloud allows unlimited scalable storage for growing business data. What’s more, data can be backed up more regularly and restored from anywhere, using any device. This was a vital step to enabling multisite control for the salon owner.

A shared internal network ensures that data can be accessed by employees at each salon quickly, efficiently and securely. Most importantly, we have given Obsession the tools to keep all client and company details protected.

Full Managed WiFi

We understand that businesses rely on consistent internet connection in order to manage their activities and meet customers’ expectations. We provide high-speed, uninterrupted WiFi for Obsession Salon and Spa.

Hardware Support

We currently support all printers and computers at each salon site and Obsession’s head office. If they face any IT issues, our support service ensures that an engineer will be on site within less than an hour. This fast response provides the peace of mind that any small business owner needs.

Re-Networking

We have recently installed a new network for the growing beauty business. This ensures that all tills, PCs, music systems and customer WiFi have a solid and reliable infrastructure to run over.
